what type of paint you using
how many coats did you lay on
im about to go buy some paint to paint my sedan inside and out and the paint shop told me that i should probebly grab 5 to 6 litres of coular if i am doing inside and out.
to me 3 litres sounds like you could be streatching it a bit
you should use 2 coats of primer 6 coats of coular and 2 coats of clear

I take it then that nobody has any painting experience advice that they would like to share.

Can anybody quote some pressres that they have used in previous projects for comparassion??

I hab just recently painted my car inside and out, andit has all gone well so far, and i am starting to put daisy back together.

Ihave noticed that the paint seems rather thin, even after using just over 3litres of paint. The dude at the paint shop sadi that 3 litres would be heaps for the job, but the paint is nowherenear as think as the original coats.

Anyideas?? perhaps i lost too much paint to the air, (ie to much air pressure) hence not actually getting 3 litres on the car.

not super worried, but would like to know for the next projectwhich starts after this one is going.
