It would be cheaper for you to get an S14/S15 VVT SR20DE. I've seen them get up to 100kW at the wheels.

Don't waste your time, unless you really are only after stock ones.

Visit the Silvia forums, and see if someone has a set that they no longer need, after an upgrade. But beware of damaged parts.

ive never heard of that but ive only been in the nissan tuning scene fore about 4 years and mainly focus on fwd sr20s so it could be different. normally you will break a cam in half if its not torqued properly or youll snap a few valves if timing is off.

I heard that SR's are known for chewing up cams I think due to people not using good oil and chahging it regilarly enough so the oil galleys must clog up or something.

If a stock cam is all ya need then I gues nissan is the best place to get one but they will proably ask you for the chassie (cant spell) number when you order parts that is the problem I had when trying to order stuff from nissan.

Pretty sure there is 5 different grinds from Tighe (thanks for clarifying dattoman) from mild street to full race but you could also coustomize if ya knew what ya were doin.

Let us all know what ya end up doin as i am very keen to do some work to my N/A SR because the authorities wont let me put a turbo SR in (bastards)

Also are you running an aftermarket computer?

Hey guys, I'm after camshafts for my S13 SR20DE. Where's the best place to get one?

Through Nissan
Jap importers
Cam place like Crane (do they stock jap stuff?)

Cheers
