National Carburetors shows this one in their catalog. $210 remanufactured with 6 month warranty plus core. I recently bought a carb from them for my 210 and it's in good working order though they didn't replace the anti-run on solenoid or whatever it's called, and there was one part that I had to replace with the old one because it was different/ http://www.nationalcarburetors.com/cat-nissan.html

good luck
Michael

I just found out it has the Z20 engine in it, Super low miles car runs. It has frame rot but otherwise in great shape. If you need the carb I could get it for you. Let me know.... I was thinking about grabbing it anyhow next time I go up there. It's a upullit lot they will charge me anywhere from $5-$45 depending what kind of crack he is smoking the day I go...LOL.

I recommend finding a 2.0 to 2.5L carbied engine and get the carby off that.

The 32/36 is much too small for a 2.0L or greater.

You have 4 potential problems.
1. making sure you can mate the carby to the manifold
2. Do the cables line up, work appropriately
3. Is the carby jetted ok for idle, off idle and full throttle.
4. Will it pass a registration/emmisions test?

I don't know enough about the Z22 head as it's kind of uncommon in Australia. So It's hard for me to recommend a carby.

Can you implement the Z18 fuel injection?

Chris

i have a datsun 720 p/u. i know this site prolly does not deal with these but sites are limited that do. i am in need of a carb. i have the z22 motor and the stock hitachi carb is shot and cannot be rebuilt due to being mangled by the previous owner. i believe the stock card is a hitachi dcr342 but not 100% sure. i have been told that i can use a weber 32/36 carb. but my knowledge of carbs is very limited, as in non existant. i just took the stock carb off today and have begun hunting for its replacement. this truck is a daily driver so i dont need a high performance carb. any help would be greatly appreciated.
