Sorry don't know how to link, but heres the shot of the door only (before painting).

If you can do the work yourself, its really cheap and relatively easy. Basically you just:

1. Drill a hole in the top of the door for the new "door knob"
2. Run 5mm rod through the hole and down into the locking mechanism (requires bending and shaping to fit).
3. Tap threads top and bottom of the 5mm rod
4. Attach knob to top & linkage at bottom.
5. Weld up holes in door (use metal sheet for handle hole)
6. Install central locking for lock/unlock.

Took me about a day to do each door.

just out of curiousity, how come you want to get rid of some chrome off your 1200?, the door handles add quite abit to the car, you dont really notice how much of an impact they make on the pnels until they arent there.
