If it dosnt fit try mid mounting it & use it on the race track that would be cool. I have heard of a RB30 mid mount 1200 coupe before apperantly that went real good. But that was race track only.

Anything is possible.
But depending on where you live in this big round world will determine whether you can legally register the car to drive on the road.
In NSW Australia the displacement of the RB20 can be registered in a 120Y but the physical size of the engine will be a tight squeeze in the engine bay of a 120Y, that is if it would even fit. ( you still need to fit a radiator too remember)

As for coilovers ? whats wrong with the factory ones with better shocks and different springs? If you where going to fit other ones, you would upgrade the brakes at the same time. There is plenty of info to be found using the search button. Shocks and brakes have been disscussed plenty of times.

i'm a new member, quite interested in gettin a 120y. however, i'm only interested in gettin one for conversion purposes. it seems to be common for A15's to be put in, but i was looking at somethin such as an RB20. wanna know if it is possible. are there any aftermarket coilovers made for or would fit to the 120y? disk breaks??

thanks loads!!!
