Sounds good.... Eltham makes it easy for me :)

I'll photocopy some melways with the route I usually take. Not the main roads, and there are some very tight (probably too tight) twisties round the back of Eltham.

The road from Hustbridge to Kinglake is good, but the one from Kinglake to Healsville is better, anyone which wants to do that, I'll be going on it after the picnic :P

how about the 9th of July (or 16th?). Preferences please people.

Alright b-lokes I can see it takes a girl to organize one of these cruises!!

We're thinking of doing Eltham to Kinglake so mad120y if you can help out with the roads that'd be rad.

I drive to Hurstbridge frequently, and i go through the diamond creek area on the way home from uni sometimes.
Also, Kinglake is 25 ks from my place so it's not even as far as rallycar's ranch from here.

Eltham is a good meeting spot. Say... the Diamond Creek Miniature Railway near the intersection of Fitzsimmons lane and Main Rd Eltham... Melways 21 H10.

As for the other end, there's picnic points and lookouts at Kinglake national park Melways 250 or thereabouts.

So gentlemen, choose a day when you're all free for a social drive and a chat.
May I suggest no night cruises (sorry baby)
coz the roads round here in fog are unbearable (i just kept hallucinating serial killers at the side of the road... and the foxes love it out here)

ANYWAY.
Long post, sorry.
Hit me back!!!

Edit: changed melways ref to a more recent edition (ie this century).

Pizza on thursday and now I'm a 1200 and 1600 owner I can bridge the gap!!... Its the Z owners you have to worry about!!!

As for the cruise I'm more than happy to organise one. Some of my local roads, Hurstbridge -> kinglake and back to healsville are great! If ppl want an informal cruise I can organise the roads, I drive them most weekends in the summer :)
