180B crossmember for the swap.

oh and it was the 140Z and 160Z in South Africa and the Sunny excellent in Japan, and they were the PB210 in a coupe, the sedan was also released in some places as an excellent with l series and different tail lights but aren't as nice as the coupes.

use the sump off the 160j(square model wid twin lights) the pickup is at the front, so it fits into a 1200.

I'm curious about what crossmember you would use too. Finding a tidy 1200 sedan is near impossible so I'll probably end up buying a Sunny or 120y sedan and fitting an L18 for my next project.

from what i understand you can fit an L series fairly easily by using a stanza? (i think) crossmember that will bolt straight into the 120y

im happy to be corrected if thats wrong...

They were not called "120Y", but it appears that the later B210 did come with L16 power in Japan.

The earlier one was the PB210 "Excellent", but later on they apparently quit making the separate model line and made B210 with Excellent trim level. Here's the article: PB210 Excellent Series

No they didn't, but another car, the Excelent, used the same basic body shell with diferent trim & lights. This car came with the L series engine. The coupe in particular looked a bloody nice car too.
