Hey! after actually seeing the bike today, it is a 4 stroke!!!! so that gets rid of that problem. but the turbo will still be hard to find! and its an cheap as bike so theres not much sense in puttin a $400 turbo on it. but yeh im sure we will get it done eventually! ill keep u posted!

Maybe you should try NOS!!!

I've seen a 50cc scooter with NOS & it was truly awesome....... Relatively cheap too!

I tried to supercharge an old clapped out 2 stroke model aeroplane engine in the shed when I was kid, hoping for a nice loud bang and some broken bits to show the lads. Used a bit of comressed air, straight into the venturi (with the propellor removed and a flywheel in place instead). Never got any stunning results out of it though. At minimal pressure it revved a tiny bit harder (or at least I kept telling myself it was..... not easy to pick the difference between 15 and 16K rpm), but with a bit more boost it either wouldnt run, or would only just kick over, sounding really sick. I was spewin I never got it to blow up.

I reckon its because the boost is working against the motor. The fuel mix is in the crank case and goes into the cylinder via the transfer port as the piston comes down. When you boost the engine it just increases the pressure in the crankcase and stops the piston from coming back down.

Pretty much just ####ting in your own nest with that one. It may be different with perhipheral ported and multi cylinder2 strokes though..... I dont know enough about them.

you could probably make a supercharger with the right bits

I believe that to be the case also.
The only time I have heard of anyone doing this to a 2 stroke, was one of the boys at CAS years ago on a gokart. Last I heard of it was the piston took the cylinder and head for a fly.
I dont know if he ever tried anything else with it again.

If it is indeed a Honda XR100, it is a four stroke. If it's a two stroke, it's a CR. Quick to tell the difference, if the exhaust looks to be the same diameter all the way to the muffler, it's a four stroke.

I've had half a dozen XR's and worked on a dozen more. Currently I have a XR650L. Street legal dirtbike.

i think your main problem would be pumping the pressure into the crank case... you would have to upreage the seals so they don't blow out... this would be a job and a half as you would have to make them all yourself...

Here is another option
