I assumed all alloy heads had hardened valve seats in them, does that sound right?

Thats good to hear about the car and ...... finally it has a front bumper
No surprise to hear about the brakes, it looked a bit sick, glad to see your on the ball. I'm sorry but a bit humurous about the petrol. Hadn't put fuel in for ages.

Hey Dave,

Yep, got 'er going after I got some keys cut. I charged the battery over night and it cranked over with very little effort!
I've put a good bumper on the front and I just got the brakes fixed last night. The left rear wheel cylinder was knackered. I pulled off the drum and a pool of brake fluid gushed out...

Never mind - luckily I had a good spare in the shed and was fixed in no time. I Warmed it up and went to go for a test drive and...... ran out of petrol!!!

By the way, when you had the head done, did they put in hardened valve seats (ie - can I run unleaded in the beast?).. I dunno if I can afford Super

Why is it that the people that are the most enthusiastic about these KB10s are people that already have one.
Maybee they know something. They seem keen to make sure that we know that they are something out of the ordinary.

That is a nice 2 door!

BTW, I'll be posting some pics of my ebay bargain soon - I've been doing some work to it to get it going again....

Also - I just found out I'm gonna be a dad to a baby boy in January! I'm gonna pick him and his mum up from the hospital in the COUPE!!!!
