When I was growing up I felt self conscious that NZ had such a small population but after time in Aus and the US I have grown to appreciate that.

The South Island absolutely rocks when it comes to driving - especially the Otago/Southland region. 5 mins from my house I can be driving on the beach, racing at a legendary track, snaking through a gravel road, or apexing twisty blacktop. And chances are there'll only be a handful of people out and about.

New Zealand/Aotearoa - truly Godzone.

Oh and for this weekend against our Wallaby brothers....
Go the Blacks!!!

Yep - I was over there in January. I reckon it's great! I'd like to go back to Christchurch sometime soon.

Hmm - we just opened up an office over there... I wonder if they need me to give em a hand to set up...

Just been to the south Island, and I have got to say that you guys are spoilt rotten when it comes to good roads and good cars. Only saw one 1200 (a tidy white coupe in christchurch).... but with $10-15K NZD for a WRX or 200sx i'm guessing it's pretty hard to justify $20k to do a rebuild and ca conversion on a datto.

gotta love those mountain roads though, just wish I could afford a better hire car than that damn gutless barina!!!
