I think it is for spotlights,trace the wiring from the switch and see if there is a relay? Dattodevil is right here in South-Africa the newer ute,s is fittet with a switch and is 4 spots.

Not sure what year your ute is, but on mine, it flips the front grill over to reveal the rocket launchers that launch when you hit the button on the end of the indicator stalk. On the later ute you could push the cigarette lighter in and it would make them heat seeking, but I think they only came out on the South African ute.

hmmmm, no switch in my centre console..... i think ull find its something dodgy that the owner before u put in for driving lights or something like that.....

for all those 1200 ute owners, i just got one myself and ive started restoring it a bit. I cant figure out what that flick switch in the centre console is for?

i spose mine isnt working cause nothing happens when i flick it. anyone know what it originally was for??
