I know in the ute (with afaik stock guards front and rear), the rears did not scrape at all and the fronts showed signs of some scrubbing on the inner guard on the inside of the passenger kick panel. They didn't touch any outwardly visible parts of the car and didn't seem to scrub for me at all - but they obviously did a bit otherwise the wheel arch wouldn't have needed a bit of black paint when I put the stock rims on.

They're only worth what you're going to give me for them so make a reasonable offer via PM if you like.

they are still bigger than the ones i have now

i would be putting them on my 1200 sedan so the only thing im concerned with is scrubbing. the gards arn't lipped so they might be to wide.

also how much are you looking for them, im in deloraine so postage wouldnt be a problem.

Hi again,

Finally got some new rims for the datto - so these rims are now for sale - not for swap.

After taking them off I learn that they are not 7s and 8s but actually 6.5" and 7" (I am a trained scientist and lecturer and it appears I am no longer capable of using a tape measure :) ). Good 205*60*13 tyres with lots of tread.

Best offer.

They're in Launceston, Tasmania.

See the original post for a link to a picture of them.

Cheers,
Brad

G'day bcg and welcome to the best datto site.
I own 3 120y coupe's. one green weekender, one white daily driver and another burgundy daily/parts car.
I would love to see a pic of your ute.
Here you will find out a lot of useful info on datto's and there are a few others here on this site that are from tassie aswell.
We have had a few datto meets here in launie over the past few months, so keep an eye out for our next meet date.

GO THE DATTO!

What type of Mags are they? I have a couple sets of mags, 1 set is 13X5 hotwires, the others are 13X7 deep dish Magnums. If not what sort of money are you wanting for them and can you send a photo??

Hi Guys,

Just bought a 1200 ute.

It has a set of mags on it (13*7s front and 13*8s rear) and good 205*60 rubber (around 80% tread).

I'm happy to take an offer of cash or preferably do a straight swap for a good set of near stock rims (narrower mags would be nicest).

I'm in Launceston, Tasmania.

Feeling like an old fart but these hang out of the guards and will only attract the coppers. She's just a work ute

See here:

for a photo of one of them. They all seem to be in fairly good nick.
