My windows were long past the 10c trick. So I've been opening the vents a little (I'd rather have a low-pitched roar than a high-pitch whistle).

Anyways, I'll have to report back on how it works once I get the passenger-side window rebuilt.

10c coin trick!!

I have used that trick on many occasions..good call!

There's always 10c in the ashtray.

An equivalent would be a 5c nickel in US currency.

silastic works a treat, and if you put painters tape on the glass it wont bond to it after it dries so you can still open it as usual

Silastic. I had to look that one up. It is silicone rubber sealant.

I thought of that, but was more thinking of taping (using clear tape) the body to the glass, and also removing the drip rail from the roof. It might quiet the wind noise considerably.

OK, I got new rubber seals for the wing windows (front ventilator glass) and put the driver's side on today. It took about one hour. And indeed, that window is now quiet, at least at 35 mph, but the passenger side is still whistling. I can't wait to fit the other one.

About $17 USD each from the Nissan dealer.

I find that if I fold up a piece of paper to about an 1/8 of an inch and put it behind the catch it holds it tight enough to stop it whistling. My rubbers are in pretty good shape.
