I would say you need to make up your own pipe with a 90 on it, to get the wastegate into a decent spot, i would doubt you could simply bolt the wastegate straight to the manifold.

i agree, thanks for the info. in addition to that i also have heard the the wastegate can foul the crossmember (depending if it is a kit or custom made). just another thing to think about. cheers

those of the shelf high mount manifolds work well i am running one on my ca18det in my ute with 450hp turbo but the external gate plate fouls on the strut tower so a little extension on the gate was needed, top end power improved alot

great question i was also worried about this but with a gt30 instead of a t3
so anybody know about those off the shelf manifolds????

dose anybody know or has put a top mount manifold wit a t3 turbo in a datto 1200 ute??? i am considering buying one for my CA but am not sure if it will fit ok????
