The five speed is not common, but they are out there, so just keep your eyes & ears open & make sure that you have set aside enough cash to buy one when one pops up.

They can be quite popular & life's a bitch if one becomes available & you have no money to buy it before someone else does. I suggest that you have about $750 just sitting in your sox drawer ready to go. If you get one for less, then shout yourself a beer with the change.

Good luck trying to find a datsun a series 5 speed.
I am looking for one aswell to put into my 120y coupe, but I suppose I should be looking with the hen's teeth and rocking horse !%#$

But the A14 motor is a real bonus.

lucky finding an a14 in a wagon! go the wagons.

diff u can use a tube of molybond to shutit up for a while then replace with an H145 or H165 axle from any 1200.

nice choice of two cars! they dont look bad together...Open in new window

(well GTR/S's and 1200's in general anyway ) no i dont own the GTR but were always fighting for primo parking spots here in this westfield carpark...

hey all,
my name is matt im 18 and own a r33 gts-t skyline and have just bought myself a 1200 1970 model wagon. ive been tlod that is has a rebuilt 1400 motor and an upgraded brake booster. i was wondering if there is a 5 speed box out there that is a direct fit?also the diff has a fairly noisy whinnnn iand wondering where can i pick these up?
