i agree with what you said about the diff Toad .. due to the later h190`s having 12mm crown wheel bolts .. I saw one these lsd `s on the jap auctions ,,they said it was out of a C220 Van .. There are so many variations on these diffs ..and its hard to make parts fit from other Model h190`s.. Grrr Quote:

I have two very similar to this, it looks virtually the same as mine except for a slightly different case casting. It is a later H190 as it has M12 ring gear bolt holes, it appears to be a B gear offset, it has a 4 pinion shaft,( I can tell by one of the shots on E-Bay). It looks the same as a 720/Navara ute unit, except these have a 2 pinion shaft and a thrust block. Both mine are 4 pinion, converted from 2 pinion. I believe the early 200SX had a same unit as yours Sidedraught, except they had M10 C/w bolt holes so I'm not exactly sure what yours would have been out of originally. Maybe it was just a motorsports diff.

It could be a commercial lsd from an early truck I saw this information on the datsun historical section on ratdat.

I think its 1968 or something.

The problem is that all the car based H190 diffs use either an 80.4 mm or 84.4 mm distance from crown wheel flange to opposite bearing shim surface. (The so called "A" dimension on Nissans description system).

This diff uses an 87mm offset. There is nothing in my Nismo or genuine parts data showing this offset. The ring gear ID is standard a 120mm.

Hey all,
Series 3 b/b has H190 I think I pulled a centre out of a series 3 ultra and it was a 29 spline H190. Big diff for a CA20 and auto
I would hazard a guess that S3 TRX also ran the same as I also have a 4.1 : 1 ratio 29 spline that reputedly came out of a TRX. The ony issue is they are WIDE - a tad wider than the series 2 H165 axles I have.
Cheers

What sort of diff does a series two Bluebird have?
All series 1 & 2 Bluebirds used the H165 diff,.... except for the standard station wagon that left the factory with the four speed manual trans. These came with the H190.

I'm led to believe that the series 3 was fitted with the H190 across the board, but can't confirm.

Thanks Benny,Errol is on the case.

But if anyone else has any ideas your thoughts would be appreciated.

Its got an 87mm offset and takes 30mm 29 spline axles.

So It turns out this LSD isnt for a 2000 sports, as it fits 30mm 29 spline axles, any ideas what is is for?
