maybe an early 80's 210, then probably an A15 5 speed?
datsun parts are easy to adapt, others may not be so easy.

You could actually cram some skyline struts in if you wanted to. That applies for RWD Pintaras aswell. Yep.

Have a look at your engine number, it's on a machined pad near the distributor. The engine number prefix is the engine identification. All of these small Datsun engines are known as 'A' series engines & this is the first character. The next two digits are the nominal engine capacity X 100 cc, so an A12 would be 1200 cc which is what your car had originally. An A14 is nominally 1400 cc, which was gained with a 3mm bore increase & a 7 mm stroke increase. The oddball in the family is the A12A which is 1237cc & was the base engine in the US model 210. It is possible that you have one of these, but they are relatively uncommon, so you most likely have the A14
Your original engine would have had the distributor at the foward end of the block, however the engine was redesigned for '74 & the distributor was moved back to be under No 3 plug & the position of the engine mounts was also pushed back 40mm, so you will probably notice some home grown engineering in your car. The altenator was also moved from low on the left side to be high on the right side, so there may also be some wiring changes evident in your car.
I don't believe they either the '91 Stanza ot the Toyotaaaaargh Camry would have anything significant to offer. Generally speaking, the best donors are other Datsuns from the mid 70's to early 80's.

B210 - If the current buyer flakes out I'll definitely buy 'em from you.. or if you just want to sell 'em to me is fine too... Umm... I dont know if I have an A14 as I was told the car's engine and tranny was already swapped by the original owner which came from an early 90s B210... is this an A14/15???

4 wheel drums? No USA sunnys had front drums.
The Stanza they are talking about is Australia only; they used aussie suspension (we have the 1980 Datsun 510 HL10, theirs was the Stanza A10).
You can use many parts of the new cars; you can swap the whole Camry engine in if you are clever. Not too many of us would attempt it. I don't know that anything would be a direct bolt in; highly unlikely.

that's he biggest reason to use 280zx stuff, there are tons of them in the junk yards in the states. There are not really any rear suspension parts to be had, you have leaf springs in the rear ( some would say that's better ) The engine parts you want is an A15 to replace your A12 and a weber32/36 the biggest reason to not use them is the big pile of $$$ you'll need. like i said in the other thread, 81 datsun 210 would be a cheap nearly bolt in that might even fit with your current wheels. Learn from my mistakes...81 datsun 210 struts ( sold already, unless you want to pay more than $33 for them, but i shouldn't they already sold... )
