Try a vl mate, I know a ute that belongs to a mate and thats what it uses. I drove it today. its got the length you need and the right fittings. If you cant find one at the wreckers you arent looking properly, there is heaps of them! And if you snap one you can replace it easily, no matter where you are.

You want the 910 Bluebird Series 1/2 (L20 powered) cable. It's longer.

The 120Y one is the same length as the 1200 one.
