i dont think they really care if you have an out of state car as long as its insured. i wouldn't be able to sell it of course. i haven't run into any problems with my altima on BC plates (yet).

worst case i'd have to drive it across the border once a year to keep it legal.

Sure you can import it into Canada. But then you won't be allowed to import it from Canada into USA for another 10 years ...

The plot thickens! 1981 for importation to the USA, 1976 for CA smog, but I have a plan: but Canada is only 15 years! Didn't realize this until the fourth or so hour of googling today but I'm from BC and have an address there, go there all the time so I can just import it there.

Sent Aoba an email earlier we'll see what they say, it'd be nice to have a source for goodies like those grills they make, fender flairs etc.

Hi Lloyd,

Yes, Yuki spoke some english but since I know even less japanese I pointed at things like my map and photo of my car

Aoba Auto is in Yokohama, so it take a few hours to go out there by train. There are some places in Tokyo that occasionally have B122, but as far as I know only Aoba specializes in them.

If you want to buy one contact them now by email. They specialize in 1990 and newer, but you would need 1981 or older for importation to USA.

One of our club members plans to bring his Sunny Truck back when he returns from Japan AFB. That will make 3 known ones in USA. There are two known ones here now, one is from South America, the other Nissan brought in years ago for testing.

Hello Llloyd-san,
A staff here seems to have spoken by the gesture.
It recorded in the blog.

I just have to say that Aoba Auto is one of the coolest places. It is a small place, but the staff is friendly (Matsuo and Yuki), they had a dozen or so Sunny Trucks for sale, also a B310, had the advertised Sunny parts in stock (even a new 5-speed!) and it is right by the train station.

Good one, Mat.
