I pissed off one of the washers that go down the bottom, between the control arm and the bush as i saw it as kind of usless as the bushes arent going to wear that much, this gave me JUST enough thread to put the nut on.

Its a pain in the arse i know, especially when their brand new

hi guys, I checked with my supplier (budget auto parts oxley) they said the listing only stated 120Y in the Kelpro book, as far as I am aware they should be the same.
The part number is 28088 the width is 25mm and the thread length on the radius rod is 70mm add to that the bracket width and all the washers and hence my problem.
The only thing that I can see is that I can do is champher the edges of the bush so it seats in the washer better.
thoughts???

I fitted a set of Nolathane ones to my [1200] coupe about three days ago & they went straight in without any drama at all.

Check the part number to be sure that you have the right ones as, like Normo, I suspect that this could be the problem.

if you mean the swaybar bushes, the trick is to have the front wheels off and to be able to turns the wheels to either side so the thread is reachable. Just remember not to tighten them to much as I have gone though coupiuos amounts of them due to cracking from over tightening. As for the other ones I'm going to bed now
