no it has the same block as a 351 clevo but the cylinder heads, crank and rods were an "australian only" proposition!

put 302C heads onto a 351 they raise the compression ratio to somewhere between 9:1 - 10.5:1...

YES there IS a 302 Cleveland... it's a australian invention!
Ah yes, I remember. It was called the "Boss 302". Basically a 302 block with canted-valve heads (later to be fitted to millions of 351 Cleveland engines).

nope not a call for help... I like my dattos but something woth a bit of powere would be nice...

I'd really like an XA-XC hardtop but they don't rust.... they dissolve!

I'd like a 289/302/351 windsor as they don't "bleed" like a 302/351 cleveland...

YES there IS a 302 Cleveland... it's a australian invention!

I have heard that the windsors are almost up there with our beloved A series for durability and revability...

the dattos will be staying... for when my fuel money is gone for the week!...

I prefer to have a V8 in something designed for it!

Is that a 4dr mustang ??? in the pic.
It sure reminds me of my favorite car ever: 1985 Ford LTD II (aka "Baby LTD", an evolution of the Ford Fairmont) 106" wheelbase 4-dr Mustang 5.0-liter EFI sedan...I sure wish they made a low-price V8 rwd sedan these days. The cheapest new V8 is the Mustang at $25K USD.

Why not do this?

No its the choice of bogans here in Australia its either a that or if they are holden (GM) guys the go for a VB commo
the mustang of the same era in the states does have similar lines we have a few mustangs out here
there just as crap as the falcons
no offence it just seems that paying $156c per ltr why go and get a car that weighs 2 tonn with a big V8.........(thinks to him self very hypocritical seeing as I have a 5.7 in the garage as well)
each to their own but V8s are getting cheaper to buy and more expensive to run
thats why I bought a scooter as well ( I know its gay but it has been to the servo 2 times in 2 months and done about 500km)

Is this the automotive equivalent of coming out of the closet?

I can just picture a bunch of bogans with ford and holden black tshirts coming over your place like the 'queer eye for the straight guy' lot.

The show continues as these burly bogans search through your datsun parts collection and laugh about your small carburettor, and 12 inch wheels. While you stand by blushing and shrugging your shoulders, as they throw the parts in the scrap bin..

I think I could make a show about this... It would have to better than the crap on TV at the moment.

I would call it "Bogans eye for the smart guy". Chick Henry (King of the Summernats V8 bogans) would be the head bogan.. hahaha I kill me.

For our international members..A bogan is the Australian equivalent of a Redneck. If George W Bush were an Aussie...he'd be a bogan and drive a V8 of some sort..
