Quite the opposite, if you ever need to get paint colour matched, as silly as it might sound it is more likely to be perfect if you get a colourblind person to do it.
Well, you got me there as I was of the opposite view for two reasons
1, When I went for the position at work that I currently occupy, it was necessary for me to pass a colour blindness test. This was the usual page with dots where the number or letter on the page was done in a different shade of colours to the main background. It was explained to me that colour blind people could not pick the shade difference & the number or letter was basicly invisible to them. Ummm, OK.
2. During the Battle of the Bulge near the end of WW2, colour blind observers were flown around in small spotter aircraft to pick out enemy vehicles as they could 'see through' the camouflage. The different shades were [allegedly] blended together to make one stand-out shape & they were easily spotted by these observers.
Is it all true? Beats me, but that's what I always believed.

I felt sorry for this bloke as he has obviously sunk a lot of time & cash into this car only to have the final touch spoiled. I fear that the final fix just might end up being a total respray.
Solid colours, don't you just love 'em
