Holden V6 has for a jetboat,one vital ingredient ,TORQUE which an A series wil lnever produce .a Good boat motor......

a guy near work bought a 10ft alloy boat, it's a jet powered A14 motor, i'll get some piccy's up of it, he needs a stocko carby to suit, as it;s corroded.

Why not just use a single 32/36? If its gota be downdraught that'd work fine surely...

120fly, do you have to marinate the engine like this or can you just use the engine the conventional way with rad etc.

You will need >>>>>>>
prop shaft >keywayed balanced and prop bolt $450+
floor coupling to run prop shaft through floor $350 + brass bushs machined to suit prop shaft .
alloy exhaust water cooled manifold a must ?$$$$
brass water pump for cooling system $200
Engine mounts you will have to make your self .
you will have to get the fibreglass made stronger around the engine area.
Id go a holden v6 efi set up should get one cheep enough and they already make water cooled exhaust manifolds for them .
