720's with a15's? I know some 620s had J15s...

i know 720's did have a15's... i thought they were 1500cc or there abouts in capacity and a quick dig at tyrie...

sunny wagons only, vanettes and saw one in an urvan once at the wreckers. Dont forget the forklift specials

The extra 300cc doesn't sound like a lot by itself, but it's a nominal 25% boost in capacity over the 1200 engine.
The A15's real strength lies not in its modest 3mm larger bore, but more in its half inch [12mm] increase in stroke. This is what allows it to hang on & pull hard in a higher gear instead of needing more revs in a lower one.

And 720's never had A15s.

I would say a A15 1200 compared to a A12 would go heaps better! Alot more torque because of the 300cc more capasity.

i say i t goes harder in stock form, i noticed straight away. then with a few well chosen mods, goes even better.
It should have been stock in the 1200's but i guess 1500 was reseverd for the 720 ute or other rubbish cars

hey guy's i am looking at getting a 1200 ute with a A15 in it, i have driven one with a stock engine so does the A15 go a lot harder than stock, and where do they source the engine from.
