Should be right, stainless isn't ricey (to expensive for the plastic brigade).

Anyone got picks of some extension work? We're getting a tubbed tray and backing fabricated and I just wanna see what the interior would look like.

I'm sure Wardy wouldn't mind seeing these as well.

If you get new moulded carpets out of a 1200 sedan, the rear section will fit nicely just up under the lip 1/4 of the way up(you will need to use contact adhisive to make it stay put) Heat the backing to bend it.

Thanks for the ideas guys... keep em comin! What ive been thinkin of doin for a while is to carpet the back wall in black (same colour as the carpet) and screw a piece of stainless/alluminium and have the datsun logo etched or watercut into it! what do yas think? i dont want it to look too ricey..coz its a datsun!

Ive seen a Ute with the back extended also running 2 x Subs. Between the seats there is a polished amp and the doors fitted with splits and tweeders. it looked neat and tidy with great sound quality. I am looking into a custom console that comes up between the two seats (for an arm rest) and mounting some speakers on the two sides + doors.

I got a tool roll, tyre brace, bottle of water, couple of rags, the origional nissan tool bag??, a UBE (YOU BE hit with it YOU BE F##KED) some surface rust and some wiring. Wouldnt mind doing what demon did, sounds awsome. Might pull the seats out one weekend and have a good look at whats involved.

from the factory rotaries (aka lawnmower engines) feed sump oil into the carby at a slow rate for lubrication.

when building my bridgeport we ditched the standard oil metering pump and i now run premix into the tank, rather than inject dirty sump oil. It burns cleaner and you know that your engine is recieving the lubrication it needs. its common for the factory setup to stop working or block up, and you wont know till its too late.

you get a lot of funny looks at the servo tho hehe

anyway back on topic

my ute has carpet all the way up the back panel and around the rear window which meets the roof lining. more of a felt than carpet should i say... i think thats what your question meant rather than whats sitting behind my seats ?
