That connection from solenoid to the coil is for the auto-choke right??....

This can be caused by running too rich, also timing, the hitachis are they flat top or round? The flats tops had a anti run-on solenoid that needs to be hooked up to + on the coil.

hey need help! today when i was driving around with no bonnet(cause it just was primed) when i turn the datto off it shaked for 2 seconds like it wont to keep running then blew a buff of smoke what i belive was out of the air filter's, and the carbs are twin Su carby's. also i dont think i have filled to oil in the carbs is that to blame? cheers
