Thanks for the link, I had a quick search and there is a few turbo engines but the majority of stuff is front wheel drive.

I called a few importers and the cheapest engine was from SSS Autos for 1400 bucks for a S13 SR20DE, I also have to get the thing freighted to Townsville so there is some more cash.

if anyone can make sense of the FS forum HERE on antrx.com you might be able to find something on there.....i joined the site but now ican't make any sense of engine numbers n stuff or whatever they are talking about!! but if u find something on there send me the link n what u want to say or u can just join up yourself!!

Thanks for the tips and the link. I think I am being a bit of a jew at the moment, especially for an engine with no history for over 1000 bucks. I will just keep searching for one at the right price. I just missed one on Ebay for 400 bucks, DOH!!!!!!

If I stick to my budget and play the waiting game SOMETHING will turn up

I am chasing a complete and running SR20DE rwd engine now as I have just come across a SR gearbox. I am after the S14vvti non turbo engine but I wont knock back a good offer. I live in Townsville and if its a bargain I will ship it up here.
