and to be honest i would rather a gem then a 120y

even though u have a similar setup to me i have always hated 120y's and always promised myself i would never buy 1
120y and vw beetle
never liked these 2 cars.
its just the shape.
i love 1200 coupes

just trying to keep it alive as i never see 4age threads

i done a gze in my 1200 ute...

MYSELF START TO NEARLY FINISHED

any 4a engine has a similar block even 20v so engine and gearbox mounts will be same with all these engines
also the gearbox combo will be same what ever way you go.

for the price
go a gze if you want a turbo or supercharged or both.

go the silver top 20v for a good na engine

but this is only if you want to go with toyota...
if you have to do engine mounts and the rest of it choose a engine you love as it will be the cheepest thing to buy for the conversion.
the mounts will cost more then the engine if you cant do it your self.
And gearbox combo is like any engine
run a week t50
or custom supra,celica,corona setup like any high power rotor or sr or v8 etc etc.

thanks guys for the reply and the help that you guys have given me.. and for the gemini engine bay i was just putting that pic up as that is one of the top engine bay that i have build along with a few others.. but thanks again for the replys.....

type in normo in the search and check out my old ute. The 4age is brilliant for the datto.

A bloke has been selling one on carsales.com.au for ages.not sure if he is a member on hear at all though.wants about $10 000 from memory.
