thinking about doing that as I'm not sure if the caliper mounts are the same on early and late 120Y struts

I have the struts I put in The Defect III, and the previous July '74 struts, which have fuctional shockies..

however I think the shockies in TD3 are functional as they made a hissing sound when I pushed the struts upwards...

why not just put the early 120y springs into the late struts?

I can in about a fortnight

the coils I have on the Defect III are not the same type on both sides - cut 120Y on the left strut cut 200B on the right strut

but they have HUGE calipers that clear my 200B SX alloys

I have uncut coils on early 120Y struts

hi guys I have put the front end out of the Stocky shell under the front of the Defect III...

the old front end being a July'74 had the small balljoint LCA's/steering arms/struts

I have put late model 120Y stuff in it's place

can I use early struts with latemodel LCA/ steering arms?
