looks neat leigh, better vissually to in the 1600 engine bay.

are you going to use some heatsheilding to deflect some of that radiant heat in the engine bay now (seen some damage done by some drit guys by removing heat sheilds for no reason)

the $250 a series manifolds that were being sold here a while back look like fantastic value for money. has anyone used them yet?

the final welding was actually done by simon on his mig, mine was a little underpowered for the job. he tig welded the turbo flange on.

i can now see why maddat used to sell these for $1000+ it takes soo much time even if you have the right welders and machines! luckily time is what i have

Dazzling effort Leigh. If it works as good as it looks you will be the horsepower king of Melbourne. [well, perhaps the neighbourhood]

the high mount will make my turbo upgrade easier, i wanted to make the air entry a little easier and wanted to design a manifold around the much hyped 'merge collector' design. gotta save the pennies for the turbo now. looking for 250rwkw

shucks guys, thanks

it took me ages (days) but i took my time and made sure it was nice and evenish and flowed well. the finishing off was done at sikyne's workshop. i still need to die grind the inside entry of the ports to smooth them up.

Yes it is, the pic with the butt welds shows the talent going into this. Well done!

Why don't I see more people putting this effort into A series turbo manifolds?
