Hi Burke_a_lot, thanks....
Well I have already got my race car up as my avatar. I did that today (I dont know how anyone gets anything done at work) with this site.
I just painted it at the start of this year. If you go to youtube and punch in datsun winton you will find some pics of me racing when it was blue, along with pics of my old race car the 1000 coupe (its now in Datsun heven).

Spy you say.....what for the corrolla croud. lol...
Got to say, great site for datsun info and it is a credit to the people who maintain it (thank you), also you guys know so much about this great little car (the Datsun) and how to get good cheap preformance out of them. I also love the fact that the Datsun has pulled down the pants of a few "top end" car manufacturing companys on the race track over the years. And in a lot of cases you can still find datsuns up the top of the field/class in regards to racing all over Australia. Go the Dato's

Thank you, Ianey. Yes top gear is one of my fav shows.
One of the 1000 coupes is a bid rusted (good for a race car project) but it did come with the drivers seat with the head rest and very good door trims etc.
The other 1000 coupe is rust free, well as good as it gets, very straight and came with a Datrally built A1200 and a turbo set up. But I am missing the front guards on both as they were used to replace the guards on my old 1000 coupe race car.
