I would never shop at citys there at least twice the price of anywere else. Having said that 1g is alright if its rebore new pistons etc not just a re ringer. Try find someone wrecking a vannete or buy one and swap your a12 with it lol

Craig doesnt run maddat any longer, doesnt build engines either.

For building best bet is Datsport, Baz is someone who knows datsun motors, finding one will be the issue. Japco might have one.

Oh and commercial wreckers because they came in vanettes. That big 4wd wreckers in port adelaide had them a while back.

There's also Barry from Datsport, and Craig from Maddat. They're down South too. My mate got an L20 supercharged engine from Barry, and it went like #### off a shovel. I've heard they're both pretty good.

theres a place down south, they love datsun..

Grand Auto Parts..

look in ya yellow pages its either front page or back page in the Hotline list.. or just google grand auto parts..

i got a price from them it was 600 with carby and manifolds

looking at getting an A15 can anybody recommend a place i could find one. city dismantlers sell a reco engine for around $1000 from memory then i would need gearbox, has anybody got engines from there before not sure if i trust them??? any help would be great. cheers
