The mad dat bracket is great i installed them for customers when i worked at mad dat, honestly eeasy to install... i have one on my ute...

maddat one you just hold in place and drill 4 or 6 holes and bolt it to the fire wall

maddat one comes with a bracket that must be welded to the firewall? Sounds more complicated to me.

For LA/LB lancer you need to:
1. dent the strut tower to clear the booster.
2. weld nuts on the inside of the bracket, so bolts can come through the original firewall holes.
3. cut 10mm or so off the threaded part of the cleavis, that attaches to brake pedal.
4. bend up some new lines. Or bend the original ones if you don't care how it looks.
5. bend up the bracket (or make a new bracket) that secures the master cylinder to the strut tower.

Yes, good for CA conversion (I've heard). You'll probably need to make a bracket or re-drill the firewall.
