Get a Gregory's or something for more details.

If you don't adjust the valves after installing a head -- it WILL be off tune badly.

u guys mite be rite, can u tell me or show me threw pics on how this is done, sorry to sound like a dumb arse,i checked for manifold leaks and it made no difrence,it just runs like ####. thanx for helping lads.

a carby prob wouldnt make a miss, just a rough idle. A air leak may if its MASSIVE but usualy just makes it hunt or high idle.

Mike may be on the money about the tappits!

while its running pull one spark pulg lead at a time if it runs the same then its a lead or spark plug ,

or a manifoild leak to test this spray wd40 over the manifold while running if it runns better theres your problem

or carbie probs

what is your ignition system like? Are you running new plugs? Did you drop any? What are your leads/dizzy cap like? Do a comp test to eliminate your head

im in dire straights,ive just fitted my reco clynder head,new valves,stem seals,rocker arm,machined,i torqured down the head and rocker arm, and the engine has a miss like its running on 3 clynders,it was running smooth as b4 i put the reco head on. can some one help me plz. this has cost me lots of money,and i dont wont to ruin it. cheers mark!
