dattodude your thinking of a ute, or coupe

yes you will need mounts on the diff that the shocks can bolt to, like the standard ones

rueby_tuesday, the brake line brackets are there for a reason

Umm yeah, you will need them

When I had my r32 diff cut down, I took my old H145 down with it and said, make that diff (R31) look like that one!(H145)

The made up the required mounts and there you go.

You may need to go back to the diff place and ask about the shock mounts.

QUESTION ON THE R31 DIFF.......With the sedan diff is it the width as the ute,
How much was cut off to be shorten and where abouts, up near the centre or at the hubs??.....thanx

and on the topic of R31 diffs

I didnt bother getting the flexible hose brackets put on cause the old H145 didnt need em, but now I starting to think that I will need to weld them on.

These are the little brackets that sit just next to the caliper on the housing to hold the flexible line in place.

Do I really need them?
