where are you located? I have an A15 and box that I'm going to be selling in the near future, it's still in a running (albeit unregistered) vehicle if you wanted to check it out...

Well said Doyle.... Mine goes really hard, I still want a bit more power out of it, so am thinking forced induction (in a year or so), she should kill almost anything with that on it...

I think that its just sad to see these old cars being converted, I hate the idea of cutting the body to put a CA or SR in it, if you want to do that, there are plenty of shells or half finished projects out there that have already been cut up...

ok i am sure alot of people would agree with me here...a well built a14 or a15 is more then enuf hp in a dato 1200 ute...you could call my motor mildly built and it can blow vs commodores AND a vz ss away...its all good and well to put a ca18 or sr20 in but realiablity is very important...theres nothing like smashing another car with AN A SERIES and not a import turbo motor!

Look for an A14 or A15 you can get good power out of these on the cheap

is there any engines that just bolt up into the 1200 ute? like 1600 engine (all datto engines) just want a bit more power untill i dump the sr20det (a while away lol )
