cylons8 - yea im in aus mate

i'll have to get some photo's of it tomorrow arvo cos the thing looks sweet, old mate who owns it has got it lowered with white walls . im pretty sure it said datsun 1500 but i only caught a glimpse of it

yes - that would seem correct (if wikipedia can be believed!) ... J engines with leaf springs in the back for the 510 making a 'datsun 1500'! Here's a discussion on them from another forum with some pics.

There was a "150Y" (1980-1982) in some markets like Asia and South America and Carribean.

Mexico had the 510 with 1300 engine (J13). Maybe they had 1500 versions too as they made the J15 and J13 right in mexico.

There's a 1500 ute I think. A 1600 sedan, maybe 1600 badges are getting hard to come by?!

Bit like the 'DATSUN 1000' ones.
