If you're going to try & find an A14 or A15 from someone who took it out of a 1200 ute, see if they will sell you the engine crossmember as well, or swap them your original. This will get you a drop in fit & they can cheerfully cut up your one. Later 1200 utes came with the 120Y style block,so adaptor plates are needed to fit an A14/15 to your wagon, unless you can get the correct crossmember. Plans for the adaptors are here on the site, in case you can't find anything.

What struts are you running? Has anyone else needed spacers for TRX rims?

Mine fit fine.

I'm with Tommy, get your hands on a a14 or a15, there seem to be a few floating around at the moment as the newer engine conversions go in. should cost you somewhere around the $500 mark depending on the condition, then get a downdraft weber (cant remember the type), extractors, exhaust and the trx's and you should have a fair bit of change for some fluffy dice or whatever else floats ya boat.

I would say work the motor you have if its not to tired. A worked head with a webber and extractors will keep you happy. Fun to drive then you will have enough $$$ for the rims too.
A good idea i recommend is to get a set of disc brakes with any worked motor.
Maybee off a 120Y or stanza can be easily fitted.
