then u have to use a hilux diff and modify that. it will work and they r reliable.
btw hilux diffs have different ratios. so be sure to buy the right one. 3.9:1 or 4.1:1
more information is given on the main forum named hilux diff

There are no R31s here in WA ... no Skylines at all except one old C10 coupe.

Hey nice 210 you've got. Yeah, I just did the strip down with another 1200 coupe, I've got 3 sets of shelving storing my 1200 parts warehouse

I'm a little hesitant to go all out on stripping the 210 just because I'm feeling lazy & frankly I dont have the room to store all the extra parts.

I see the 4 link set up the guy put in, it seems like a boat load of work! I assume you're saying the housing out of a 210 will hold the center of an R31 and that its standard rear drum on a 210, is that right? I hacen't pulled wheels or eve peaked at it yet.

btw the one i gave u the link to see the job to be done is not my ride.

if i were u i will get everything out of the 210 and leave the chasis only and send it to a reckers.

few reasons - u can sell parts u don't need. there can be someone who need that

reason 2 - you don't know what you will be using. some of the parts are good for both 1200 and b310(210 / sunny)

so if u put an r31 difff, yep you will have disk brakes on the rear. this is my ride everything original. have also rev counter included which was not a standard. and rear fog lights. it took me a year to do nearly everything to the original.

Datsunsunny - is that your car? Thats on nicely put together ride! I haven't looked at all the pic's yet but I'm impressed, thats a hell of a lot of work!

did the brake booster come from a 210 as well?

Nice paint color too, I was looking at a new Toyota color, Jasper Pearl that looked very similar. I decided though on 07 VW GTI Fahrenheit burnt orange, should look sharp!

Datsunsunny, thanks for the pointers. thats kind of what I was looking for. Basically just wondering if there's other parts & pieces I should scavenge off the 210 before I unload it. Of course if I steal everything off it its got to go to the wreckers!

On that green sedan, were those front brakes off the 210? The calipers look huge & based on what you wrote the 210 rear end is disc brakes as well, is that correct? If you swap the rear axle does it need shortening or is it a direct swap into the coupe body?

Here's where mine at now....

I appreciate your input!

Thanks,
