L20B into sunny. You use the stanza engine crossmember as already mentioned. get the gearbox cross memeber from an auto sunny to use with a stanza 5 speed. use a stanza H165 rear end,it will bolt right in - some have rear swaybars as an extra. use the stanza manual pedal box, you'll need to drill two small holes for the master cylinder studs & the large hole for the master clylinder, use the complete stanza clutch master cylinder/slave cylinder/hard line set up as well. get the 200B out of a series 1 or 2 Bluebird (910) as they have the correct sump & Dipstick (if you use a 180B you have to change the sump & pickup & relocate the Dipstick). Inlet & exhaust depends on what fits under the bonnet, SSS side draughts fit but are hard to come by, the exhaust would be what you can find, I've found some extractors used to fit 200b's into 1600's that worked, top radiator hose use R30 Skyline cut down a bit, lower hose use stanza. for the coil you can either extend the standard wires around the engine bay to the left hand inner guard & mount the coil there or get a longer coil lead. for the radiator i used an N10 Pulsar header tanks that had the outlets in the correct position, with sunny radiator sides, & had the radiator outlets enlarged. Check the Bluebird radiator as this might be a better bet. I couldn't get a plastic fan between the radiator & the motor, so i put an N12 electric fan on the front of the radiator, driven by an N12 fan switch which there was aposition for in the lower tank. For the speedo cable, you need a Japanese assembled Stanza cable to fit the speedo fitting on the sunny. Sorry to be so long winded, but this is a quick run down on what you need to do for the whole conversion, not like the kid next door to me did when he wanted to put a Z18 in his 1600. he didn't allow for the transmission, the electrics, the radiator, the exhaust, in the end he put it back to stock & sold both the car & the motor & bought a Suzuki swift.
PS the oval shaped rubbers that go in the transmission tunnel are available still from Nissan, they just have to get them in from Japan. I got 2 from Lander Nissan here in Sydney.

Would it be possible to get a late model Nissan Micra, fit the 1.8 litre motor from a Tiida & then turbocharged it? Your answer must include parts numbers for the conversion. You have 12 months. Commence.

I'd advise using the sump from a 910 that had a steering rack. This gives the sump clearance on the drag link. The L20B is a tall motor. Mine had sidedrafts. I'm not sure how a stock aircleaner would go clearing the bonnet with a standard downdraft carb.

The body on a sunny has the same suspension crossmember mounting points as a stanza. The whole lot will swap over, you'll need the engine and gearbox, engine + gbox crossmembers, tailshaft (watch out for two different rear axles in these things), clutch assm and clutch pedal. Even whole exhaust should bolt up.
Stanzas came with L16 and L20.
Wish it was that easy in a 1200.

you'll probably have to make up a custom engine mounts, a few members have exensive knowledge of this set-up in dato 1200, don't think sunny would be that much different. Try using the search button on the left hand side and i think there is some stuff in WIKI, have a look at datnet.org there was a full write up on it
