found a link to datsun dupont paint sample
not very clear but!! clickme click the word "colour" up top, then click "colour chip library historical" +"dupont refinish"
on the left. then click the "launch dupont etc etc" search by car type foreign and car make datsun-ta

Cone head.
My coupe is painted the original colour(kings red ?} it is currently in storage so i can not check the paint code number.
The photo looks a bit brighter it is a more moroon colour

I just found the photo because I knew it was around and posted it here.

Im not sure of his name, nice coupe though datsuns look the goods in flat colours.

The red on the ebbro model is more like what I have seen on 1000's, as for his car being original colour I wouldn't know unfortunately.

its been painted on the outside but going by the original paint in the engine bay i would say it looks a darker maroon. is his car the original colour? have you seen the colour of the ebbro model? or is that different cause its a 2dr sedan/ clickme the sunny 1000 red at the bottom of the nissan page!
