NOS? I like Nitrous, cuz when it blows up the parts fly soo far a way you have less mess to clean up.
Would like to have some sort of carb for the stock a12. I got two spars and 3 or 4 rebuild kits with the car. The one I just took off had a flat spot 1800-2800rpm, so I swapped it out for one that came with the car. Flat spot is gone but the acel pump has got some issue. Sometimes it works ok, sometimes nothing, so it's just some crap in there. So?, how much is a stock good running a12 with 40k ( was rebuilt ) & 5spd (78 b210) worth?

Yea, 500! The guy had this one and the wagon. The wagon got crashed, so he saved all the parts off it. His kid drove it for a while and the boy passed away. So he parked it, sat for 6 yrs. Said it was never going to run, took me 15 mins to get it going. I started to strip off the int, and get it ready for the big motor, then I lost my place to work. So I put it back together and have been driving it ever sence. Just hate to cut it up. I'm thinking of getting the 74 v8 Dodge Colt across the street and keeping the Datsun the way it is. If I could get 250hp out of the 1200 motor for say?, 500$ I'd be happy, LOL.

Yea, I thinks that's about it. Done this sort of thing before. I've got a one off Rad for it. It will be fitted in front of the core support. That way I can fit a stock (buick) type fan and I wont have to push the motor back through the fire wall. I think I'll just cut out the whole tunnel and make a new one that I can remove. Just trying to keep it under budget. So I find a lot of used parts, wheel and deal. Most of the motor swaps I've done are putting big over sized motors in small motorcycles. I've got the skills, just waiting for the money to fall out of the sky. Just noticed yor from seattle, I got this car off C.list for 500$ from the orginal owner, along with a pile of spares. The name is Frank.

You only need to cut to fit a larger transmission (firewall, and fit a larger tunnel) right? The sides/strut towers don't need cutting for a Ford Windsor (302/5.0).

I've got everything to get the job done. Just wondering if anyone has ever did this. I've been getting all the parts together for about a year. I've got the motor, trans, rear end and so on, just hate to cut the car up, runs like a top. It already has a b210 5spd and rear end in it and I've up graded the front brakes to 10 and a 1/4" vented rotors and big Nissan Callipers, seats and so forth.

Not that we know of. I think it would be a great swap. Other V8s have been done: * GM Chevrolet small block V8 * Ford Clevor * Ford Windsor * Chrysler Hemi V8 Swaps
