r31 struts will go in with hte regular stanza/sunny control arms and such

you will need to either run coilovers or weld on the standard 1200 sized spring perch as the r31 springs are to big for the 1200 strut tower

r31 struts arent really that suited to a 1200 as they will be wanting to run positive camber...due to different stub axle angle
to overcome this i would suggest finding some 910 bluebird struts with the r31 brakes on them and also shorten them to suit the r31 strut inserts
that way you will have a better stub axle angle for the car, more neg camber, and brakes from the r31 struts bolt straight on

hey ppls, how are we?

we ahvent been on here for a while (for those who dont know or cant remember, ry is 11yrs old, we got him a 1200 ute to do up for his 1st car)

anyways, we have been given some r31 skyline stuff, a disc to disc diff, and a full complete front end, but we are unsure wat we can use, all the jargon bout wat fits dont make much sense to us (im into early celicas and rotaries, having 2 rs28's, r100 and 1300 wagon in the build) so any help is appreciated.

we know the diff will have to be shortened, but from wat i gather for the struts, they are too big but can be made fit if they are modded to coilovers?? in whic way are they too big??
we are building the ute on a budget just to get it on the road for ry to learn in, and then i guesss he will take over and do a turbo conversion (hence the upgraded diff, susp and brakes)

any help is appreciated
