if its an older 1200 (distributor up front) then it will bolt straight, and if its a newer one (distributor halfway down the block) the engine mounts need to be modifide, its quite a simple modification and there is step by step instructions and photos in the tech section..

I think if the clutch cable hole in the gearbox is biger that genaruly means its a newr gear box from a 12y or sunny, witch means its more likely but dose not nesaseraly mean its a newer motor.

with that gearbox you allso need to modify the gearbox cross member as newer mounts are further back, or you may allso be able to put the tail section of you old box on the new one? or eaven if you old box is still goodenough just use that..

wot do ineed to fit one into my 1000 ute are they just stright bolt in do i need new tail shaft all i know is the clutch cable is diffrent thats it any help will be good thx
