I'm using a Pertronix conversion & it's been nothing but a source of absolute joy from day one.

He used VW distributor internals in a A14 distributor to get elec ignition.Think it will also work in a A12 distributor.

Thanks Roconnor, but i was thinking something cheaper, take the electronic ignition module, and wiring it up in the A12 dizzy! I`ve heard petronix is good and cheapest way, but i`m trying to keep my budget low as possible!!

How did you find the Nardek kit, was it a straight bolt in? I am just in the process of ordering one myself.
