Hey zigzag,

not yet mate, it is the next project.

It was the one for sale on here about a year ago that was pretty clean and rust free but had been rolled and the roof was all squashed down. I have done most of the panel beating and got the roof back into shape, it just needs a bit more work and paint.
I have some skyline brakes, a h165, wat style wheels, and the twin su a14 that is currently in the race car lined up for it. Im going to paint it white with the red and black side stripes like the GX's with guard mirrors and nice and low.

I will start a thread soon.

Cheers!

Yeah thats a good point, not tailgating or hitting trees might help! (Only joking)
Yes, all positions for the intercooler have good & bad points, so you people should consider these carefully when you decide where to mount yours.\
Front mounting looks cool though!
DatsAndy-good post!

Come on Dudes. Put some concrete powder on ya Weeties it will harden you up enough to drive a Datto and a Datto Only. Unless you run out of Weeties then you can borrow your girlfriends Evo to go get some and top up ya concrete powder while your at it.

i am offended levey.... jokes..... i think front mount is good too but any rock or stick thrown up into them and its goodnight irene.... even little bingles into trees from leaving the track and your in trouble.... didnt an evo have to pull out of a stage of the WRC cus of a stick damaging the intercooler a couple years ago?

Yeah, but I think on top of the engine is not the best either. On a race/ rally car with constant airflow through the bonnet scoop it's OK, but heat will build up rapidly when stopped, slow driving after a thrash, etc.
I love Subaru's but front mount intercooler in my opinion seems best.
Hope nobody was offended by this post!
