ah yeah i guess there would be, think my flywheel has had that bit lightened....so no relocating of bolts for me

but the 280zx clutch would be near the same as CA right? meaning it would cost about double the 225mm clutch price

There might be with the 720 flywheel though it would be 7.5mm further out radially. Heres the pic sticks sent,

Good stuff thanks for your help, theres an engineer pretty close, doesn't hurt to ask how much it will cost. Better do some measuring tomorrow night, would be good to go straight for the 240mm clutch.

I have heard of guys gettting this done when they get their flywheels lightened. Apparently it is to suit the 'larger' clutch setup. Which one I don't know as I have never done it before.

Now you have me thinking... would the diameter be there on the friction surface to get extra 25mm overall? What about 40mm overall for the zx clutch?

I'll still get a 720 one if its available.

You can get your existing flywheel redrilled for bugger all. Have a word to Topgear. He's an engineer.
