Xavier I'm in Las Vegas as well, up on Sunrise Mtn. Looks like your short a few trim pieces like the side vents and also the interior piece for the underside of the trunk lid. I have a really nice trunk lid interior piece and I think enough extra side vents, send me a PM and their yours...................I move them every 2 or 3 years so I'd rather they got put to use then sit in drawers etc. My coupe is long past being made a street car ever again.........if only I saved those kick panels (sadly I tossed years ago)
As for the price it was more than fair.........you couldn't buy the parts on the car for $1500. Long ago I worked as a Toyota mechanic, 3TC's are great engines with lots of hop up parts available (or at least back in the day). At our local stage rally folks are still running them in Corollas and I've never seen one break. After reading your post I curious as to the disk brake conversion.........any chance that's a Corolla GTS rear end (the had a limited slip diff stock) also what gearbox is in there, I assuming it's Toyota as well.
A twin cam engine is neat but there is also nothing wrong with a Datyota or Toydat, you'll have great fun with the car no matter what you do.

Tom

It's amazing the damage a foreign engine in a Datsun can do just with bad vibes.

Holy Bajingo's Bat Dork!! Was that HUMOUR??

I love the look that the coupe has. It's almost as if it has the perfect stance and rim to car ratio.

And dare I say it, I agree with the Dodge. Scap the donk and restore the world to it's correct axis before we hurtle uncontrollably into the sun.

Thanks guys for re-assuring me of a good purchase.
As for the seats, I believe they are out of an E30 BMW but not %100 sure. I can take better pics of them for those interested.
The engine in there came as a surprise to me as well. I will most likely drive it for a while as is and replace it later down the line with a CA18DET. For now the first order of business will be: paint job, lowering blocks, carb tune. Cheers!

Asking if it was fairly priced AFTER you bought it is probably leaving it a bit late, but in this case you did well.

Yeah what are you doing with a toyota motor in there? Put a Yugo motor in it. that's what all the Aussie's run.

The seats are very interesting, what BMW are they from? Look like E30 seats, I'd be interested in knowing how much they have been modified to suit. Oh and $1500usd sounds like a steal to me, well done.

Please more info on them seats, can you take a picture of the front and rear mounts. Do they look like they bolted right up?
