it looks to me that you wanna remove that silver doover and replace with the round thingo(in the last pic) and then fix it onto the shaft with one of those nuts a nut
make sense?
im no expert on these carbys by the way.

Driving me nuts,

I get the carb all installed and the linkage just seems strange. Do I actually disassemble the weber to put my linkage on? There are already bits on it. And it came with a throttle switch but I cant figure out if I am suppose to use this. Also I got a throttle cable guide for it that goes on the side of the carb.

Also the bung hole for the hose to go to the breather is that suppose to be on the front right corner of the air filter? That seems like a bad design to me.
