That's coming along very nicely. I'm a big fan of 2 door sedans as well. Well pretty much anything that has 2 doors.

Nice,but yeah weekend tarmac racer is the go.
You will also have to change the extractors as that type won't go between the gearbox and steering/rail area.

good work, another one on the way.
probly wise not to make it a rally car, I dont think the 1000's are suited to it bouncy leaf front and not enought travel, but it should be abeast with that motor, maybe a little weekend motosport.

yeah it is abit of trouble but these datto's are well worth it and im not realli into the coupe onli the 2dr sedans

Change of mind everybody this 1000 is no longer going to be a rally car its just going to be my daily when its done so no more rollcage but it'll still go fast haha..

jotaprime 250 is the primer i used prolly the same stuff just different brand? anyway as long as this car is going along im happy! ...should be doing some panelbeating soon.. then hopefully do the rollcage and floorpans.

Did the airline catch around the mix-pot? Bit of spillage there.

The engine looks great.

What sort of primer is that? Looks just like the 269 I used.

update got it blasted and painted today also put the a15 together with all the goodies

my brother managed to blast the whole car without damaging the rooflining which is excellent

worked a15 /w twin gx carbies running L16 needles, big extractors and attached to a dogleg 60 series 5 speed
